I will be introducing the stallions we intend offering at Stud in 2026 very soon.
All will stand via Live Cover this Spring and Summer.
In 2026 we intend providing the public with access to a few of our stallions;
TO THE MARE OWNERS WHO HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THIS, WE THANK YOU.
SELECT MARE NUMBERS WILL BE OFFERED FOR EACH STALLION AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE EARLY BOOKINGS …
I also need to make it clear, we will NOT be accepting mares with limited handling as we have done in the past; Nor will we be accepting mares that are presented on arrival at the stud with injuries so recent they require daily treatments at our expense. Yes, we have had both, and worse, ‘killer kickers’ … Mares that have been so terrified and traumatised by previous breedings they take 2 to 3 cycles to settle enough for a stallion to cover, without risking injury.
PLEASE let us know ‘At The Time Of Booking’ if your mare has been bred with hobbles and/or tie-downs as this is something We Do Not Use and Will Not Use!
If you have a mare that has been bred this way, I suggest you consider one of our well-experienced horses, rather than a young stallion which may get frustrated with a mare that responds in a fearful way. To ignore a mare's anxiety does not help to dissipate her fear, nervousness unease and worry.
