What I Offer For Rehoming is excess to my needs and most often male; Though I do offer mares when I have an abundance of their family available to me. What I can guarantee is the horse was never bred to sell!
I will take this opportunity to state the vast majority of Buyers have become numb to the fact “a Breeder does not sell their entire foal crop year after year” and sadly this is becoming commonplace globally because Horse Dealers have found value in selling foals, some even offer them prior to mating or from the day they're conceived!
I won't say much more, you get the gist. I believe REAL BREEDERS retain the majority of what they produce, for 3 reasons;
1.) - to develop and improve the breed & types within a breed to suit different environments and specific purposes.
2.) - to improve faults and weaknesses identified in their breeding stock.
3.) - to adequately appraise the horses they are breeding, before and after across the generations … Including resilience & longevity.
